Ava Mancing 

Ava Mancing is a copyeditor based in Boston, MA. Prior to earning an MA in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College, she spent several years working in the disaster relief sector on domestic and international programs. Working in diverse communities with folks from all over the world fueled her interest in the stories people have to tell, whether through spoken and written word or through art—the kind of work supported by BAR! In her free time, Ava likes to listen to sad music, feed seagulls at the beach, and shoot amateur street photography.
