Niara Simone Hightower

was raised in Boston with roots in the South and Midwest. She is a writer / researcher / editor / organizer / dancer who explores Black memory and ways of being through interdisciplinary projects. She moves toward poetics, space making, and Black feminist praxis in her current work across the publishing and civic realms.
